Enter the Labyrinth
An 8-week journey to feel safe in your body again and rewrite your body’s ancestral memory.
My ancestral patterns took shape in my body.
Our nervous systems develop early, and our bodies learn through what surrounds them. And if your mother carries the shape of her mother, you start realizing the scale of the whole operation.
The shapes our bodies take can become reflections of the obstacles they had to contort themselves against.
And the longer you carry yourself this way, the more it becomes your posture for life.
It took me thirty years to start noticing the shape my own body embodied, the one I had spent my whole life dancing around.
I got into improvisation theatre, lured by the promise of play and camaraderie, and in return I got to brush against deeper layers of myself.
The next moment, I could become someone completely different just by tweaking my physicality or tone of voice.
That got me thinking.
If you can build whole three-dimensional characters this way, what about us?
What characters did we convince ourselves to embody because we were born with them?
And what if we decided to play with what was actually comfortable?
I first stumbled upon ancestral healing through my memoir pieces, where I explored my matrilineal lineage and how differently we were shaped while being raised under different systems of oppression, each one its own pressure cooker defining how much we could stretch ourselves, how much we could dream.
My grandma dreamed of transcending social classes. She aspired to go to medical school in Poland in the 1950s, coming from a working-class family with a father who worked as a butcher and a mother who was a shop clerk.
My mother dreamed of seeing new worlds. She collected piles of language books, imagining that one day she would travel, during a time when the Communist regime issued passports only to those willing to give their blood and tears in the name of the Party. She only made it as far as Turkey, on a long bus ride, covering for her mother’s friend selling home goods at a bazaar.
And then there was me.
I was born into a democratic chapter. The world was wide open with the possibility of pursuing higher education and traveling stamp-free through Europe.
There was only one problem.
The external world was free, but I still carried the limiting beliefs of my ancestors in my psyche and my body.
This work is for you if…
* You’ve done a lot of inner work, but your body still repeats the same patterns.
* You notice yourself over-functioning, people-pleasing, controlling, or staying hyper-independent to feel safe.
* You feel deeply connected to spirituality, but disconnected from your body, pleasure, instinct, or life force.
* You feel like you’re carrying emotional weight that belongs to your mother, family, or lineage.
* You’re outgrowing an old version of yourself and ready to stop living from inherited roles, survival patterns, and conditioning.
The Labyrinth is not about trying to solve your trauma with the mind
It is about increasing your body's capacity for choice. To feel activation without automatically becoming it.
To meet a protective part without letting it run your life. To feel emotion without immediately suppressing it.
To experience sensation without needing to escape it. To recognize an inherited family pattern without assuming you have to continue it. To feel desire without contracting around it.
To experience more life force without immediately shutting it down.
Because healing is not simply understanding why your body took the shape it did.
It is giving your body enough safety, support, and new experience to discover another shape is possible.
That’s what we build here.
How this work found me
When I began working with people myself, I noticed that everyone seemed to carry a distinct energetic pattern, a certain shape they returned to when nothing interrupted it.
Initially, the somatic sessions I held addressed the body. I helped people come back toward safety from dissociation or activation and meet the inner parts living within physical sensations, the beliefs communicating through the body.
What surprised me was what sometimes emerged when people entered deep relaxation: shapes, patterns, sensations, memories that didn’t always seem to belong neatly to the present moment.
It made me wonder whether the ancestral blueprint lived not only in beliefs, but in the way the body and energy field had learned to hold them.
Now I see energy and somatic work as two sides of the same coin, different layers through which ancestral memory can be met. For me, ancestral work is not about denying the lineage.
We stand on the shoulders of those who came before us, carrying their gifts of tenacity and grit, but we can repurpose that energy so it comes from a place of safety rather than survival.
You don’t abandon your lineage by refusing to repeat its painful legacy. You add to it when you build from a place of choice.
A future no longer dictated entirely by circumstance, but birthed in awe and excitement for a life lived to its full potential.

Program outline
Week 1: Mapping the shape your body took
We begin at the Root. You map the tension patterns that live in your body and start noticing what activates when you come close to fear, belonging, survival, family, and the places you learned to brace. We listen to the body before trying to change it.
You’ll walk away with:
Your personal tension map
You’ll begin to see where your body grips, collapses, freezes, numbs, or holds itself together, and what brings these patterns online.
A deeper relationship with your Root
You’ll explore what safety, belonging, and survival feel like in your body, not as concepts, but as sensation.
Week 2: Building safety to go deeper
Before we enter the underworld, we build the ground underneath you. Your body learns that it can come close to the wound without being swallowed by it. We work with grounding, orientation, resourcing, and the protective holding patterns living in the body and fascia.
You’ll walk away with:
More capacity to stay with what you feel
Instead of immediately escaping, numbing, or becoming overwhelmed, you learn how to stay connected to yourself in small, safe doses.
A foundation for deeper release
Your system begins to learn that softening doesn’t have to mean losing control, and feeling doesn’t have to mean danger.
Week 3: Entering the ancestral underworld
We begin the descent. You follow the thread into the family system and meet the ancestral parts, roles, loyalties, and survival patterns that may still be living through your body. We ask: what did I learn I had to carry in order to belong?
You’ll walk away with:
A map of the ancestral patterns you still embody
You begin recognizing the roles, emotions, and survival strategies that feel deeply yours, but may have roots beyond your individual story.
A clearer sense of what is yours and what isn’t
You start separating your own life from the burdens, expectations, and identities you learned to carry for the system.
Week 4: Unraveling the birth story
We follow the thread further back, toward the experience of arriving. Birth, separation, mother, receiving, contact, and the first imprint of being held by life. We explore what activates in your present-day body when you touch these earliest themes.
You’ll walk away with:
A somatic understanding of your arrival story
You notice how themes of support, separation, receiving, and belonging may still echo through the way your body meets life today.
A new experience of being met
Through somatic and energetic work, you offer the body more choice, support, and presence around places that may still expect to meet the world alone.
Week 5: Womb + maternal lineage
We descend into the lower body, the womb space, pelvis, belly, sexuality, creativity, and the maternal line. We meet the places where life force became held, controlled, silenced, or numb, and listen for what the women before you taught your body about being a woman.
You’ll walk away with:
A deeper connection with your lower body
You begin restoring sensation and relationship with the places that may have learned to freeze, tighten, disappear, or disconnect.
More clarity around maternal-line patterns
You explore what you inherited relationally and symbolically around receiving, pleasure, visibility, sacrifice, womanhood, and survival.
Week 6: Emptying out + returning life force
Now we begin to move what no longer needs to stay. We work somatically and energetically with the lower chakras, womb space, Earth connection, and Kundalini as a current of life force moving through places that became numb or held.
You’ll walk away with:
A felt experience of release and differentiation
You practice letting ancestral parts, roles, and burdens return to where they belong, while keeping the wisdom and strength of your lineage.
A clearer sense of energetic sovereignty
You strengthen the division between what belongs to you and what doesn’t, creating more space for your own energy, desire, and life force to move.
Week 7: Who did I have to unbecome?
After releasing what you carried, we meet the identities built around it. The good daughter. The strong one. The invisible one. The caretaker. The one who never needs anything. The one who stays small to stay connected.
We ask: Who did I have to become to belong, and who do I no longer need to be?
You’ll walk away with:
Separation from survival identities
You begin recognizing these identities as parts and adaptations rather than the deepest truth of who you are.
More space to choose a different shape
Instead of automatically returning to the familiar version of yourself, your body begins experimenting with new ways of being seen, receiving, expressing, and taking up space.
Week 8: Activating the original blueprint
We come back from the underworld.
Not empty, but more yours.
We meet the parts of you that support the life you actually want to live and reconnect with the Wild Woman, the instinctive, raw, uncensored part beneath conditioning and performance.
We ask: Who am I at my core when I’m no longer organizing my life around survival?
You’ll walk away with:
A felt connection to your original blueprint
You reconnect with the qualities, desires, instincts, and parts that feel deeply yours, rather than inherited or built around protection.
A body that has more choice
The goal isn’t to erase where you came from. It’s to build enough safety that your history no longer has to decide the shape you take next.

My own Threshold moment
In 2023 I left Japan for the US, chasing a tech career in the Bay Area.
On paper, it looked bold. Inside, it was my ego searching for proof.
I worked hard, did all the right things, watched the job market freeze, and pushed even harder.
My mind stayed in problem-solving mode. My body quietly collapsed. One tense email could send me into a spiral. A calendar invite could make my chest clamp shut.
When the career I had built my identity around started slipping through my fingers, I panicked and did what I always did: doubled down. More effort. More planning. More trying to outthink reality.
Astrology was supposed to be a distraction, something to explain why everything felt so heavy. Instead, it cracked something open. Seeing my chart during that period didn’t soothe me. It confronted me. It showed me I was in an ending, not a failure. An identity shedding, not a personal flaw. For the first time, my body stopped fighting what was happening.
Somatic work didn’t come gently. It was awkward and uncomfortable and deeply humbling. Sitting with sensation instead of overriding it felt like losing control. Fear lived in my chest. Responsibility sat like armor on my shoulders. Panic had a rhythm. Once I stopped trying to calm myself down and actually listened, my body stopped screaming. It didn’t need fixing. It needed attention.
Energy work was the part I resisted the longest, until I couldn’t deny it anymore. The warmth, the subtle pull, the feeling of being held without effort. It was familiar. Ancient. The same sensation I remembered from childhood prayer, before I learned it was safer to doubt myself. Feeling energy again wasn’t mystical. It was relieving. Like exhaling after years of clenching.
That was my threshold. The moment I stopped trying to become someone more impressive and started inhabiting myself. Not transcending my body, but coming back into it. Not chasing safety, but letting it land. Once that door opened, there was no way to pretend I didn’t know the way home anymore.

About your guide
I am Paula, the creator of Anima Soma. I’m a certified Psychosomatic and Parts Work practitioner, Reiki energy healer, and astrologer who leans on her clairsentient and claircognizant gifts to move and clear energy in the body and reconnect others with their soulful essence.
I’m also an astrologer who sees planetary aspects as guidance for inner transformation, integrating both light and shadow expressions.
For a long time, I lived in my mind. I avoided my body, shut down pleasure, and over-analyzed every decision. Somatic work, parts work, astrology, and energy healing brought me home.
Now I help clients build relationships with their bodies and parts so they can trust themselves again and grow into the identity their soul is calling them toward.

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺
-
The work is paced with your nervous system. You choose your depth. Nothing is forced.
-
That’s completely okay — it’s where most people begin.
Everyone has the capacity to rebuild a relationship with their body. In our sessions, we gently clear the protective layers that keep you dissociated, allowing safety and connection to grow at a natural pace.
My regulated nervous system helps co-regulate yours, so your body gradually learns what safety feels like again.

Sensitivity to energy differs for everyone. Some people experience tingling, warmth, or waves of emotion; others simply feel deeply relaxed.
Even if you don’t consciously “feel” it, the energy still flows to the parts of your system that need it most, creating openings for your body to process and integrate at its own rhythm.
-
No. This is trauma-informed somatic coaching and spiritual guidance. It can complement therapy but doesn’t replace it.
By signing up for the program, you consent to receive Somatic and Energy Work, understanding it involves working directly with your energy field for balancing, restoring, and healing.

Traditional talk therapy often works through the mind’s understanding — using conversation and reflection to gain insight into patterns, emotions, and past experiences. It helps you make sense of your story, but sometimes the body still holds the unprocessed emotion — the “charge” — behind those insights.
Somatic Parts Work starts where the body speaks.
Instead of analyzing, we listen to sensations, tension, temperature, movement, and the felt sense that often carries what words can’t express. Through guided awareness, we meet your inner parts not as ideas, but as living energies within your nervous system.
-
This is not another course. It’s a guided, embodied, integrated process with real-time support.
